What we collect, why we have it, who else sees it, and how long we keep it. Your own customers read your shop's privacy page, not this one.

Plain English, not legal advice.
This page describes how the service actually works, in words a person can read. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer, and it does not change any signed agreement.
Two different relationships
When you run a shop here, we hold information about you as our customer: your name, your email, your business details and your billing.
We also hold information about your customers, because your orders live on our servers. That information is yours. We process it on your instructions, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to market anything to them.
What we collect about you
- Your name, email address, and the business details you enter when you sign up
- What you do in the dashboard, so we can show an activity log and work out what went wrong when something breaks
- Basic technical records every website keeps: internet address, browser, and the time of a request
- Billing records. Your card details go to our payment processor, not to us, and we never see the full number
What we hold on behalf of your shop
Orders, delivery addresses, contact details, and the messages your customers send you through your storefront. We store it, back it up, and show it to the people you have given dashboard access. That is the whole of it.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that make the service work, and only the part each one needs:
- our hosting and database providers, to run the software
- Stripe, to take your customers' payments and to bill your subscription
- our email provider, to deliver order confirmations and alerts
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We will hand over information if the law genuinely requires it, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden from doing so.
Keeping it separate, and keeping it safe
Every record carries the shop it belongs to, and the database refuses a request for a shop the person asking does not work at. That rule is enforced in the database itself rather than only in the application, so a mistake in one screen cannot expose another shop's orders.
Traffic is encrypted in transit, access to the dashboard needs a sign-in, and what each person can see and change depends on their role. No system is perfect. If we ever have a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly and plainly.
How long we keep it
Order and customer records stay while your account is open, because that is what your shop runs on. Once an account closes we keep the data for a limited period in case you return, then delete it. Accounting records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can see and correct your own details in the dashboard at any time, and export your catalog, customers and orders while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account and the data in it.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to a copy of what we hold, to object to certain processing, or to complain to a regulator. Ask and we will help rather than make it difficult.
If one of your own customers asks you to delete their information, you can do that from your dashboard. Come to us if you need a hand.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not follow you around other websites.
